Tuition assistance may be awarded to families who are in need of financial aid when that need has been appropriately documented.
Tuition assistance will be awarded by a subcommittee of the Finance Committee. This subcommittee will include the Treasurer of the School Committee, the Clerk of the School Committee, the Head of School, and the Business Administrator.
The admission process and the tuition assistance process are separate. Tuition assistance is awarded based solely on the demonstrated financial need of the applicant family.
Families who would like to apply for tuition assistance must submit copies of all required application documentation to the Orchard Friends School Business Office by the established due date.
The maximum annual tuition assistance award per approved family will be established by the School Committee each year based on family need and available funds.
Requests and communications between Finance Committee members and families regarding financial aid are strictly confidential and should go through the Business Administrator.
