On October 2nd, Iron Hill-Maple Shade will be supporting Orchard Friends School by donating 20% of all proceeds from food sales by individuals who present these coupons (1 per guest). We invite our entire community to come join us as we celebrate our 15th year with good friends and good food! Details: All individuals must present 1 coupon in order to have their meal counted for the donation (excludes alcohol, tax, & gratuity) You may present the coupon at any time on October 2nd. OFS will be hosting Talks From The Top  a speaker series for parents and professional who support student with learning differences. The speakers and dates are as follows… OCTOBER 22, 2014 “How Do I Help My Child Make Friends?” Foundations of Friendship 7:00 PM by Libby Majewski In this talk, RDI® Program Consultant Libby Majewski will discuss how friendships are formed during childhood in fairly predictable stages and why this is so important to know for parents, teachers, and other professionals working with kids with social difficulties. This talk is especially designed for the special needs parent who wants to learn more about how they can support their child (and for those who may be confused as to why their child struggles so much) when it comes to making friends.
